Well , Mimi could ask Mathew for a Tummy rub . That might help relax her after that experience.

That’s an interesting take. Would that even cross her mind? How would such contact factor into demimon culture, particularly when it’s a demimon that can change shape?
Depends on the demimon I guess! Though it’s always a good idea to ask first before any kind of contact, whatever it may be a demimon, human or drabbunny.
Mimi might not stay in Tanuki form that long with how quickly she wants to change back to her big self again.

The robot’s trying to assimilate as much information as possible; chances are it hasn’t quite nailed down the syntax of Wukrii’s common vernacular yet, hence no real line of communication. When the robot does finally open up, in a more literal sense, I think it could be amusing to see its audio system basically be wax cylinders, something akin to aluminum foil wrapped around bronze cylinders, and vibrating metal rods that also act as the etching/playback needles for the cylinders. Jigan and Mathew might have geek out moment over the cylinders, given their potential age, and start brainstorming how to… Read more »

Or, maybe, they could ask it to show them once they have a common vernacular. It’s possible that Cyb has diagnostic functions along with repair manuals and exploded views of construction. If repairs had to be made, having the information on hand for proper access and tool specifications.
Rao’s “jump start” might be filed under “plausible, but not recommended.” It’d be like the Mythbusters using explosives to tenderize a steak…they proved that it worked, but is it really the best way to go about it?
There , Cyb opens the door and goes back to Rao

It really wants to touch Rao’s tail again!

The rabbit hole of our metal friend is certainly deep and full of further questions to answer even with it being activated.
It’s looking out the window. Hope the doors are securely locked.
Hope the truck has child proof locks!
Perhaps they should ask him a direct question.
Technically until they get back, they are still on their trip to the garage till they get back to Raos.
