This is the page where we find that Mimi has learned absolutely nothing from her experiences with disparaging Rao’s methods and possessions. You have to be impressed at her consistency, though, because in spite of constant humiliations, she forges ahead with magnificent disdain….
Mimi’s distain for all things dirty cannot be overstated! The last thing she wants dirt to the face!

Rao’s gotta put that technical skill into making a smelter, afew crucibles and maybe a lathe and a system for making casts, but then again he’d probably get less business after providing fresh functional parts, which would be a detriment to return on investment.
Rao would have to install a large smokestacks on to his house if he’d want to do smelting. Not to mention releasing all that smoke would be pretty bad for Wukrii’s crisp clean air. Reusing, repairing and recycling old parts is easier on his resources and on the environment. Though I wouldn’t put it pass Rao to invent an eco friendly salutation to smelting as a challenge.

Come on Rao! That’s no way to store parts. You have to clean them up, then coat them in a layer of oil to make sure they don’t turn into a pile of rust while in storage!
I could already imagine Rao having a huge supply of soda in his kitchen and his equipment room for both rust removal and thirst quenching!

Although, to fair, it’s only some kinds of soda pop mixes that work to help with rust removal. And I can totally see Rao testing different sodas on his projects to find ways he can save on costs.

Why do I have a feeling Rao never gets rid of scrap metal?
That would explain where his scrap metal dragon in the front of his house came from.

That’s one resourceful drabbunny! Although based on what we know about his work schedule, I’m not sure how he`s able to gather enough junk. Are the other drabbunnies helping him?
He gets his parts from all sorts of places, people and even drabbunnies. Plus folks just bring spare parts and scraps to his front garage door since they know he’ll use them. I guess he’s in the recycling business as well as repair biz!

The rust and grime are good indicators the parts are old enough to be compatible with Jigin’s truck.
And hey if the parts aren’t useful he can turn them into art like the pieces seen outside the top floor entrance.
Rao has built his business on top of all the repair job’s Jigin’s truck has needed over the years!
He’s got plenty of spare parts to make a giant version of his donut making machine!

I can already imagine Mimi’s reaction to walking into a place with oily parts would be be even worse than dirt and rust covered ones!
Not black oil, like the clear kind of oil! Besides, they’d look shiny. Everyone loves shiny things!
Mimi loves shiny jewelry, so that might just work!
I hope he has some sort of treatment for removing rust.
Nothing a good steel wool and sand paper rub down will do! I doubt he would get much business if he installed very shoddy looking parts.
You would be surprised how well soda can help in removing rust

I don’t think Rao is in the business of collecting rare bacterial infections.
…yet
Havent seen that robot in a while, anyone starting to get worried?
No need to worry! The metal humanoid Wukrii artifact is still in Jigin’s truck!
