Geez, guys, do you have to hire a diplomat to tell him, “Oh, it’s not the truck, this time. We’ve found some ancient tech we can’t figure out, and we’d like to hear your opinion on it.” If that doesn’t trip all of his flattery and curiosity triggers, then I have sorely misjudged Rao.
We can only hope that Rao can show as much interest in repairing ancient technology as he does ancient trucks.

I think with Rao, it’s best to be blunt and just get it over with. As excitable as he is, it’s best to tell outright what you are there for instead of leading him on with whatever he jumped to.
Now that Rao’s wide awake and well-fed Rao, hopefully he’ll be more open to what Matt and Mimi have to say.

A lovely page as always. I do wonder what Raps reaction to the droid will be, or, more importantly, what the robots reaction to Rao will be. Since Rao is a good mechanic, and not a psychologist, communication with the droid might be difficult, it`s not like he can just interact with it as if it was a normal machine.
Thank you for the kind comments on the page Samok731! As excitable as Rao has been shown to be, it’s certainly not going to be a boring reaction!

Why not Mimi? Surely a civilisation as advanced enough to build such a robot would have also figured out how to make doughnuts too.
While Rao may be a little annoyed they didn’t tell him sooner, something tells me he’ll be very interested in the mystery behind the metal man.
It may even be the case that his excitable nature will be kicked into overdrive at the prospect.
(Also slightly off topic, I’ve found out that Yu-gi-oh has it’s own drabbunny, Rabidragon! https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Rabidragon)
Now an ancient donut making machine would be reason enough for Rao to give a helping paw!
Hopefully Rao won’t get too excited and want to take apart such an irreplaceable artifact!
Not surprised as there are other properties with dragon rabbit hybrids. Though I know I would rather have my mail delivered by the cute Kiuwi then a Rabidragon!

Jeez, that Yu-gi-oh card looks like the sleep paralysis demon of a guy under the influence of LSD!

That card has is highly valued between me and my cousin because of “It’s a snowfield-dwelling, giant-ear-sporting, super-acoustic, snowball-shaped mutant dragon! There’s no way anybody can escape.” absolutely amazing.
If I had that card, I would have definitely valued it just for the description alone.
Plus cool fluffy big eared dragons are always in the big plus category for me when it comes to creatures.

Hehe, good page. By the way, would you like me to proofread for ya? You misspelled ‘revisit’
Nope, they are like any other species with male and female.

ah the dedication of work, i was highly dedicated to my work, true not the most glorious of jobs under janitorial but i helped keep the one place i had my job search meetings at in DHS as well as the unemployment building where i did janitorial for almost 2 1/2 years where i was highly dedicated to making sure it would be safe and clean for others, shame i can’t do that due to covid-19 now but still, i love the guy’s dedication to his work as much as i do on a 4th of July barbeque, cheese burgers… Read more »

Thanks ColdFusion! The spelling error has been corrected.
Talk about enthusiastic
It’s a complete 180 from how serious he was when they first met. Goes to show the importance of starting the day with breakfast!

I sure wouldn’t mind having a donut-making robot either.

Sure, ancient donuts making robots would bring down any civilization through gluttony alone, but it would be so worth it!

Well ….. Rao will get a big WTF surprise in the next page
I doubt Rao is going to have the spare parts to fix what he’s about to find.

That’s something drabbunnies are known for, being dedicated to their craft. Rao particularly loves his inventions and culinary arts.
Heh heh ha, you may never know Mimi!
A doughnut maker that both makes them and brings them to you!

Well, there’s an idea, Mimi. An AI doughnut maker? All the doughnuts with none of the effort.
