While I appreciate Raos ingenuity he used to create that machine, Im pretty sure he is still going to have to go to the city for the ingredients for the doughnuts. I kinda doubt that he is able to make everything himself. Well, at least there`s Rao getting a heart attack from seeing the robot to bring things back up to speed.
True, at least for some of the more exotic ingredients, although he can buy in bulk and make it himself, rather than taking constant trips (he loves his doughnuts).

Doughnut machine? Ever been to a Krispy Kreme “hot light” doughnut store? Now THERE’S a doughnut machine! ^^
Even the smaller locations can make up to 3,000 iced doughnuts per hour, the larger ones can do 10,000. O.O
I think it will be a surprise for sure, maybe they are having a hard time finding the right moment. Rao can be excitable sometimes with new people it seems.
Well, he’s about the closest thing to whatever the heck they think they might need, that’s for sure. Let’s just hope he doesn’t try to make a more advanced doughnut machine out of whatever they brought to him.

If he does, he’ll probably make the doughnut machine from the fanfic Taylor Varga…
(Small machine that steadily produces doughnuts of whatever variety the recipient prefers. Constantly, with no material input. The maker of it has no idea how it works, and its sibling machine that makes pizza, tried to bite the guy who attempted to dismantle it to figure out how it works. Kid made them while running purely on several cans of RedBull and his notes make no sense to him once he actually had some sleep.)
Who doesn’t want to make fresh doughnuts for themselves whenever they fancy?
The traditional trinkets he was showing off were good but sometimes nothing beats the thing you made with your own hands out of love.
Soon Rao will learn that it’s not the truck they came for but the contents … assuming the robot hasn’t activated again and is wandering unsupervised in the garage.

That`s just what they want you to think! The Wukriinati are trying to induce a false sense of security within you! Wake up sheeple!
I would buy that!!! Interesting though, it uses batter rather than dough, so we’re talking cake donuts here (Still good but not as good as yeast-risen dough) and it also mentions baking them, which would really be making more just.. small cakes. why yes I do think a lot about cooking..
It’s true that there are two schools of doughnut, old fashioned cake doughnuts, and more modern ones. I suspect Rao would give an entire monologue about the subtle differences between varieties, many many pages long.

I just realized, Rao`s hands have a VERY weird shape, at least when compared to humans. His hands-proper are much thicker than his arms, and overall, it just makes me question what exactly the ancient drabunnies were doing to need these proportions.
Think in terms of oversized paws and claws. Drabbunnies had to burrow, build, hunt, etc, as a hybrid species it makes sense. The smaller ones also have bigger hands and feet relative to their limbs.

I suppose if Rao wants to retire from mechanical work, that’s certainly a new career path!
Cue his surprise when they tell him they aren’t there for the truck; it’s what is in the truck’s bed

About that Rao, you ever study Robotics?

Rao sure seems to like his doughnuts/baked goods.
Though, I still kinda waiting for Rao to get to the business of why they’re actually there for.
