In the end, all they needed to do was give it a glass of water to wake up!

Turn around Rao and you might have your answer.
Absorbing all that power must have created some excess heat that the robot can expel as steam. It also helps create a misty backdrop so if it does start to move it does so rather spookily.
Plus new Drabunny terminology: Gaowugh. Used to display frustration and anger.
Rao’s going to get his answer and then some!
From eerie glowy blue eyes, to steamy mist, this robot moves in spooky motion!
I may need to organize all these Drabbunny terminology into the wiki as well!
Fun for us the viewers, but not sure how fun it will be for Mathew and company.

Looks like the robot is waking up. It’s probably going to speak in a dialect so old Matthew will have trouble making out what it’s saying, but it would probably be amusing if Mimi could fully understand it and basically handwave it away that the dialect is similar to one her home still uses and makes a comment about the robot’s accent.
I could imagine the robot being in a chatty mood after being sealed away and asleep for so long!

Personally, I think he/she/it is absorbing power, why else would the backup power go up in smoke. Not much doubt in my mind it is going to absorb more power from the house power.
I TOLD YOU IT WAS GONNA GET MAD. Now it just sucked up all the power from the machinery, and started releasing burning-hot steam to kill them all! I TOLD YOU.
Well this may or maynot end well
Well, at least they got the ancient machine to do something. It just may not be a good something.
Reactive/defensive maneuver , or gas attack ?

It’s just really stressed and is letting out a little steam.
Well THERE’S your problem. It’s a steampunk robot! It runs on steam, not electricity. No wonder you couldn’t recharge it!
(ROTFLMAO)

Building up to operating pressure….
Time to see what kind of operating it does.
Uh-oh, power overload or simply more than enough power to awaken it from it’s sleep, well this should be fun

Poor Rao! All that food in his fridge is going to go to waste without any power!
BATTERIES AT 100%… WAKING FROM SUSPENDED ANIMATION…
REBOOTING… REBOOTING…
Lets hope it doesn’t need to do billion system updates before waking up.
It’s deflating!
It was an inflatable pool toy all along!

I TOLD YOU.
Maybe it’s just releasing some very pleasant fragrance into Rao’s garage, like some sort of ancient advance air freshener!
something’s happening…SOMETHING’S HAPPENING!!!
