And as Rao begins his examination, the android says:
Then Rao has yet another freak out with this thing!
I wouldn’t blame Rao if he starts screaming if a hatch pops open on the chest
Rao may have not found the power source, but he has at least found the tickle point.
So, he’s going to try wedging his screwdriver into one of the joint-like segments on the torso. This could prove interesting.
Rao might not be the only screaming if they something pop out!
Stop! Hammer ti- Oh wait, never mind.
Seems a solid plan as any and keeps potential damage to the robot to a minimum, by all means go ahead Rao.
Well technically the robot was the creepy thing inside the metal box, I don’t think there’s a Russian doll thing going on but I may be wrong.
Will Rao find something interesting/scary/both inside? Will the layered segments prove too strong and break his trusty screwdriver? Find out next week.
Stop! Wedge open these layered segments time!
Ok that’s not nearly as catchy as hammer time I’ll admit.
Rao thinking outside the box or robot in this case!
Well , we’re not in “Aliens” . So , no creepy thing will appear ….. But a self-defense reaction is possible : a nose-punch or a big slap
Then i notice the hand is back to normal , in the fifth panel . I continue so with my theory about the robot being only “sleeping” to spare energy
Luckily Rao is trained in the art of screwdriver self-defense just incase!
Risky.. Sometimes you can force the panels like that, other times you’ll be breaking the tabs inside that secure the panels!!
Well sometimes you got to crack a few robots to make an omelet…I think!
I can’t help but Feeeeel like I’ve heard of and seen various dedicated prying tools more suited for that purpose than a screw driver, but if Rao wants to wreck his tools it’s his budget…
Got to start out with the small and simple tools before moving on to the heavy duty stuff.
My Grandad was a Toolmaker. He supervised a toolshop, and got to wear a white boilersuit, unlike his underlings, who had to wear khaki.
One day, an apprentice came running into the toolshop, shouting “I need a wrench!”
Grandad, who was well aware that there are many types of wrenches, said “What type of wrench?”
The apprentice said, “Doesn’t matter, I just want to use it as a hammer!”
I invite you to imagine what my Grandad said to that apprentice…
I imagine that apprentice was everything short of a dead man after that.
Haha! I can already picture Rao’s reaction to the same situation being nothing short of stunned disbelief and rising rage.
Even Wukrii has battery covers that are held in place with obnoxiously tiny screws, apparently.
No escape from the annoyance even in ancient Wukriian times!
Paging Dr. Rao, Paging Dr. Rao please report to garage medical room 24 patient is in need of immediate and major surgery a hand in the expertise of learning how machines work, patient is a half ton unknown robot, ancient in design, child sized, and 5,000 years old
Good thing Dr. Rao has his surgical assistant Mr. Quin and Nurse Mimi to help with the procedure!
And we’ve hit a milestone, page 100 of the chapter WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Or is this page 99?
Also, tried logging into my alt Dragonous3 account, and it’s giving me an error message, figured I’d let you know
It’s definitely the first 100th page of we’ve had for a whole chapter!
Sorry to hear you were having account issues Dragonous4 ! If you do run into them again or you want to go back to your old account, just send me an email and I can see if I can help fix things for you!
Alright, was just saying that cause page 96 is missing from the Archives, but still on the site, figured I’d let you know about that, and about the account, it’s no real issue, so long as I got a backup one, I’m good to go.
Thank you for the heads up Dragonous! Page 96 should be in the archive now!
While it is likely that the power source is damaged or depleted in some way, considering the fact that it is still working after all this time, it may very well be nuclear fission/fusion based, soo not very safe.
If it’s power is based off of something as complex as nuclear fusion, Rao may need something more then a screwdriver for this job!
