Hey Quasikiller! That’s quite a name to go with such a cute Eevee avatar. Thank you for joining our growing little community here. We love it when people say hi. I know the feeling of getting caught up on something and then having to wait for the new stuff. I think that’s what binge watching TV shows has done to so many of us now.
What are your favorite parts of the comic so far?

I wonder how he learned this whole ritual, and how does he know it’s the proper one?
Well, in this world, the locals could be Human, Demimon, Wukai, Drabbunny, or something else….who knows. The original inhabitants of Wukrii are a big part of the mystery and nobody really knows much about them, and Mathew has only some of those pieces to the puzzle, and it’s a big puzzle! It’s possible he may have indeed learned what the ritual was and how to perform it, by observing others, or possibly by learning it by it being shared by someone who knew through similar oral traditions seen in native cultures to do this day. Or he could have learned… Read more »
Well remember, Mathew is a fairly well traveled guy, which is how he can write about his findings and adventures in his books. We wanted to demonstrate some of that worldly experience here. Also keep in mind, that’s how Mimi first knew of Mathew, was by reading some of his books! Although if she completed them, we can’t say…..

Wow! I went through this comic so fast and now I’m here at this page.
I found this comic when I saw a banner for Wukrii. Don’t remember where it was, but I found it. And when I saw the banner had those drabunnies on it, I clicked it to find out more. I am definitely looking forward to the next pages, and especially more drabunnies! ^^
Hey Danderson, thanks for joining our little community here! We always love seeing new folks. It’s always heartening to know new people are reading through it, and enjoying it. The Drabbunnies are our own unique species creation and we made them specifically for the world we are building, and they are beloved by the community it seems. We plan on expanding their background, lore, and world, as the comic unfolds and in future supplemental material, so there is lots to look forward to! Feel free to share the comic with others who you think will love this too!

Make sense for islands to place great importance on keeping good favour with the sea for fish stocks, protection from storms, navigation and other things. With regards to the shrine design I can really see the Shinto elements you noted in the notification email, it’s a lovely design. I also like the size of it, make sense for an isolated part of a small island to have a little shrine, it doesn’t have to be big to be important though. Rust texture is good too, does show it’s age but still functional. I don’t think Matt has to worry too… Read more »
Thanks Evil Tree! We knew you’d appreciate the Shinto related details. We wanted to make a small, humble, but ancient shrine that, like you noted, is befitting of a small area. We wanted this to be like the kind of experience you might have wandering a lonely path and finding signs of what used to be… And Mathew isn’t trying to get the farm animals to come into the barn, so I think the bell should be ok!
Well im sad now, found this comic a few days ago and now caught up q-q

Probably from spying on the natives.
