Actually, it’s a great business move. This is why you often get Domino’s, Pizza Hut, KFC and Subway all next to each other. Everybody who wants books (or munchies) knows to go there, and if they don’t want what one has to offer, they try the next one. Each business actually gets more customers than they would if they were on their own.

A lot of business districts do that, go to any major city and the streets are lined with shops selling anything from goat cheese to common nails.
