Nini looks a little smug in the last panel. That said, Kiki’s only conversed with her in fox form, she has yet to transform and probably won’t for quite some time
Hearing how Kiki failed trekking through the forest, Nini has more to be smug about.
Kiki’s still trying to keep her true identity on the down-low, so she has to stay in the fox form for the time being.
Kiki’s still on a mission to find Matthew and his friends, so probably best to not let her humanoid form be seen until she reaches the city. Nini surprisingly has a lot more to say when she’s not eating.
This has become a real demimon duel of smack talk!

Kiki just got roasted by Nini, let’s hope she keeps her mouth shut instead of her becoming a part of a new game after all she doesn’t like anyone pointing out or making fun of her size

Kiki needs to learn how to not make any new enemies in this freaky forest. Especially after what she has been through!
That talon looks like it could do some damage. I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end, that’s for sure.
