So, Nini was leading her Tikibi to water, and it’s drinking.
Hmm, Kiki questioning Nini’s horns seems to imply she isn’t familiar with Oni type demimon, bet she’ll be surprised when Nini shows off her strength.
Kiki, you’re a ultra-thicc purple ninja fox demimon with shapeshifting powers and can summon fire spirits. To some YOU classify as a weirdo.
Well her disguise seems to be holding, unless Nini questions the choker on that fox. I get the feeling Kiki will play the ninja route and remain unknown as long as she can.
As mentioned elsewhere in the comments, maybe Oni demimon are uncommon, or just uncommon in that part of Wukrii? Tough to say….needless to say it wasn’t expected in the middle of a forest in a dense jungle after going through that ordeal.
Kiki may have her paws full dealing with Nini’s great strength!

Kiki just remembered, when you’re not wanting to be found don’t say or think thing that tempt fate. Bob and George rule number one never utter the unsayable phrase, because “It can get worst and will if you say one little phrase” no wonder Bubsy failed as a mascot, he says the phrase every five seconds. 😉
But all in all I don’t think Nini is something she should grey her for over. Kiki has already got out of that mess, No No while not talkative isn’t just going to beat up a Fox for no good reason. 😋
Oh don’t remind me, 😋 a friend of mine had a character who could see the 4th wall so she didn’t hear characters talk so much as she read their balloons. Which on one hand universal translator, the other confusing as all get out to a fellow writter.
Nini is definitely not Ket, and for that I am really happy. Still maybe she is empathic and can sense feelings of those near by, not mind reading but she can sense when emotions are weird. Perhaps. 😄

It might just be that Oni Demimon are extremely uncommon? Hard to say…
Normally, cuteness can calm someone down but Kiki’s still on a bit of a fear-induced adrenaline high, those can last quite a few minutes

why does Kiki always assume the worst of something or is it the fact her fox form makes her skittish and shy that she’s always nervous?
After what Kiki’s gone through, you can’t blame her for being a bit weary of anything weird coming from the forest!
