Well !!!! Those fruits are only for him , in the mind of the critters ? He’s giant or old because he eats them ? Kiki’s fear (last panel) will become reality ? ……… That’s a lot of questions in this strip ^^_”
Hopefully it’s just the Attack on Titan size and not the man-eating part of it!

Maybe it hasn’t heard her talk. If she starts barking maybe it’ll think she’s just a fox! … maybe
Good trick with the fruit in it’s fingers to show just how massive the colossus is, it could scoop up Kiki easily even in her regular form.
I wonder if the fruit is something like the myth of Persephone and the pomegranate, where eating the fruit has bound Kiki to this forrest in some way. Maybe Kiki has to do something in return to make amends for eating what isn’t hers and restore balance.
… Hold on, it’s got a beak, how can it chew? Does it have teeth at the back of it’s mouth?
Kiki maybe barking up the wrong tree if she starts making any sudden loud noises to this giant!
Thank you Evil Tree! We needed a good way to show that the fruit is just finger food to this beast!

I JUST HAD A THOUGHT
those small ones are just cursed people,the forest has a curse that turns whoever gets lost in that forest becomes that thing!
Again I will say this old giant Simiforme (Simian combined with Strigiforme or the scientific name for Owls, what do you think feel free to use it I won’t say a word. 😉) looks like a wise old sagely grandpa, unlike his smaller min one thing give him a more gentle feel, he has both a beam and lip lines. He can smile the others just look blank and stock in the face to others but this guy he has soft, kind, and wizened facial structure again like Phong from Reboot.
I sense no malice, and his eating the fruit may just show it is important to his mind and the small ones can overreact to starts setting it. It is a common thing in nature in our own Animal Kingdom, but I do hope the big guy ends up saying something along the lines of “Well aren’t you a fluffed pupper.” Kiki is adorable as a Fox.
Even the giants have fears, the old as well but I see no Orcs or nursing home people with straight jackets after him. All I see is a fluffy Fox who is adorable. Play it up Kiki, you’ll get more places with a pupper pout than any Ninjitsu. The eyes use the eyes!
That is the power of a true pupper! No one can resist a adorable canine!

i think we should prepare ourselves for a mind expanding next couple of pages is the theories about thos fruit being somehow hallucinogenic turn out to be true

Well, maybe Kiki will be lucky and it’s a giant vegetarian!
He may be omnivorous too ……. And for the second question : remember Kiki has eaten some of one (becoming giant or “doomed” to a very long life ?)
What if it was the berries in the 1st place that caused the trauma?
