OK now I know I’m not gonna be wrong when I say this but out of the frying pan and Into (possibly) the fire. But with that out of the way did she shrink or is that owl monkey large as heck. but hyer theorized but that thing has to be as old as the island in order to get that big. she is nearly a goner.
Hopefully it doesn’t have a hankering for fresh fox.

A very strange looking Snorlax is blocking the path. Use the Poke-flute?
Great design on the elder Wukai with the lighter, more varied, fur colours, ancient eyes and the luxurious ear hair. I wonder if it needs an ear trumpet to hear.
Kiki: Please! I come in peace!
Wukai: What’s that? (raises ear trumpet) Your bum in grease? That sounds rather uncomfortable.
Jokes aside I really like the boss monkey-owl. I can almost hear the rustling of it’s hair when it moves it’s head in the last three panels, like swaying tree branches.
The detail of the birds is also good, gives the Wukai a sagely feel. In tune with nature with a peaceful yet powerful vibe.
It certainly seems more peaceful than the others, maybe Kiki has a chance of getting out of here. Don’t panic and play it cool fox lady.
No need for a Poke-Flute, because the big guy looks well awake!
Thanks so much for the kind words on the Wukai design Evil Tree! I was worried that his design wouldn’t give off aged look when compared to the little ones, but glad to hear the slight detail differences worked!
We’ll see if its looking to shake hands or shake Kiki!

This scene reminds me of the opening sequence from Robin Hood Men in Tights. “I just told him the good and I’m… I’m… I’m in deep *expletive*”
I must agree the ‘sage’ here looks amazing! Perhaps he wont be too irate with such an intrusion into his home?
Hahaha, love the. The guy was right to keep running back and forth debating on the scene prior. “Good news is rewarded, but had news is severely punished.”

Ok you’ve got a 50/50 chance here, either it is a wise old member of this species who may be more than meets the eye and able to dispense Wisdom or he isn’t going to be happy his home has a unwanted guest. Especially one small enough to be comparable to a pest.
I get the vibes though that this old one is more than we think, I don’t know why but he reminds me of Phong from Reboot. Very very sagely and while his size is imposing, his face is soft and kind looking. Like a kind old grandpa of the Owl face critters. (We really need to find out if they have a name like Demimon and Drabunnies. Calling them by description is a bit of a mouth full. )
just don’t make any sudden movement or loud noises Kiki and i’m sure you’ll be ok!
