She at least hasn’t started nipping on some of the strange plants around the trail!

Well ; seeing how it comes , i bet Kiki will go out of the forest (near the garage) totally starving to death and will fight with Rao for the picnic basket XD
I think Kiki is in the clear there, no stone statue.

It is interesting to see her eyes open and she is cross eyed, then the eyes in the tree open, then when she looks away her eyes lids slam shut.
I wonder how she gets around with her eyes always shut, she must have built in Bat sonar and reflexes.
That sure isn’t the Triiurchin she was expecting to find in that tree nook… Could it have been her imagination? Or a guardian of the forest telling her to leave the animals alone? Either way that was quite the fright, you can practically see her heart stop in surprise
Maybe her hunger is getting the best of her and she’s already seeing spooky hallucinations! Whatever it was, it wasn’t scary enough to lose her appetite!

Unbelievable, she goes to all this effort to avoid the gawkers on the road and here’s one lying in wait in a tree.
I get the feeling she does have plenty of survival skills but her local knowledge of plants and spirit creatures and their totems is a little lacking. Maybe when she finally catches up to Matt he can recommend a book for her.
Her tail, unlike Mimi’s, has remained un-frizzed from that glare. Whether it stays that way until she gets out of the forest, however, remains to be seen.
These gawkers will do anything to get a peek at Kiki, even squeeze themselves into small tree knot holes!
Kiki does have the survival skills, but she’s not familiar with every area on the island. Wukrii’s a big place with plenty of unexplored regions. Kiki may be more interested in the picnic basket that Matthew and friends have than the book!
Kiki’s tail must be well groomed and maintained to keep the frightening frizzes away!
