I’ve been rereading from the beginning, and Nini seems to have disappeared after chapter 1. She awakened the robot in the box, or was she transformed or absorbed by it? Maybe she knows something about it, and ran off to find somebody who knows more. Or maybe she just stayed in Jigin’s house.
Hey Nerdhoof, thanks for being a loyal reader! Two things, Lagoloid and I spend *a lot* of time trying to balance out our expanding cast of characters given that we update the comic once a week while still trying to maintain the story we want to tell, which can be a challenge. I will tell you this much, she was neither absorbed by it, or transformed by it.
In fact, when we see her last, she already seemed a bit bored by it as she walked away because it didn’t really do anything till later that night. This is pretty typical of her.
However, we can confirm you haven’t seen the last of Nini! Keep in mind though, she is a character that kind of marches to the beat of her own drum and kind of does her own thing. She’s stubbornly independent!
So we have a name for the mysterious fox woman, KiKi is quite the nice name
As for her predicament about gawkers… she is choosing to walk in the middle of the road… wearing quite an eye catching outfit…
But in all seriousness, she’s beautiful, and I’m very excited to find out how she’s going to further the story and help/hinder our intrepid adventurers
It’s good to finally give a name to the character instead of having to refer to her as mysterious foxy lady!
Well, Kiki wants to dress comfortable for walking or running around in a hot tropical environment!

If we have Mimi, Nini, and Kiki, does this mean that we are likely to see Bibi, Cici, Didi, and Fifi in the future?
Hey Naldru! The names are a carry over from an old comic we used to do.
We can confirm no plans for a Bibi, Cici, Didi, and Fifi

And she has a name now, Kiki. Now everyone can stop calling her Ninja Fox Lady. … oh who am I kidding? We’re still going to call her that.
Hmm, Mimi, Nini and now Kiki. Is this a Demimon naming convention?
As for the gawkers I agree with you, that is the price ninjas have to pay for dressing in tropical weather. At least she has a good way to distract potential targets like this.
But what has she seen? A sign to Rao’s? The Masubizu marker? Something brand new? Guess we’ll find out tomorrow.

Yep, as a ninja living in the tropics, you want your cloths to be both comfortable in warm weather and functional to move around in.
The fact that they show off her curves a bit is just another weapon to her arsenal for sure.
