I’m sure Rao’s dealt with Jigin’s antics from the many times he’s had to fix his stuff. He knows what’s in store for poor Mimi.

Surprised how little time that paperwork took, he made it seem like it would take much longer to go through it all. Though Mimi probably should have read the paperwork a little before singing random papers
Rao can make anything sound more daunting than it is when he’s in serious business mode!
Rao wouldn’t try giving Mimi the slip when signing the legal paperwork. He’s more of a mechanic than a lawyer.

Fourth panel : how Rao successes to stamp the paper while holding it in the air ?
First of all, Drabbunnies supposedly have lots of fur, so it would be like trying to use a pencil on paper over a really soft carpet. (You probably know what I mean, we’ve all tried it at some point) He needs to have rock solid hands (or paws?) to be able to stamp a paper like that.
Second of all, he speaks perfectly clearly with his mouth full. This couldn’t be coming from his mouth if they were a normal Drabbunny, then.
Rao is actually a robot, he matches all the criteria Thank you for listening to my TED Talk.
(Edit: Just realized, that it (the paper) was in the air. Yeah, seems like a robotic thing to do. You can hold a paper in a way that you can write on it (or in this case, stamp on it) in the air. (Pretty simple actually, just hard to explain. I’m sure everybody knows what it is and I’m just being reaaaally weird) However, this still seems difficult for a furry creature to pull off. Rao is a robot!!!)
Rao’s still a drabbunny, he’s just a different type unlike the little winged guys you’ve seen so far. He’s shorter haired too and not as fluffy. We got more info about these other drabbunny types coming soon to the about section that should give some more facts about the drabbunny species as a whole.
Interesting TED talk though! It would be amazing if Rao was a robot. Even more so if he’s a robot that can also EAT donuts!
Having paws big enough to properly prop up and stamp paper without a clipboard are just one of the many advantages of being a drabbunny!

Wonder what rao’s reaction would be when he sees that robot/android/sentinel/or whatever it is in the truck, maybe the thicc boi might see it as an opportunity to make a replica, if that is even possible
Rao might actually feel some relief knowing that he doesn’t have to fix Jigin’s old rust bucket of a truck for the 100th time! At least a mysterious humanoid ancient artifact is more interesting to tinker with!
New lackey? Something tells me previous interns may not have stayed long with Jigin.
Mimi does look pretty cute in those slippers and her feet probably need a break from the previous activities anyway.
Can’t wait to see Rao’s reaction when he sees the real reason they came. Maybe something like
Jigin does seem like the kind of guy that’s hard to get along with, but I’m sure Mimi’s up to the task!
Some comfy plushy slippers are a very nice change of pace for her feet from walking around while carrying a heavy picnic basket load in her usual shoes.
Rao’s face will either be pleasantly surprised or terrifyingly surprised!
Well, Mimi managed to have a nice chat with Rao without teling him why they really came to see him. Focus, Mimi, focus.
Mimi’s more focused on fashion at the moment.
Mimi seems to more socially capable than Jigin, for now
Mimi’s putting all those college speech class skills to good use!
