Well… not only is this robot very human-like, which would explain why it responded to Mimi back then and Mathew now, but it would also make sense for it to not trust Rao, since Drabunnies may have not even been on the islands back when it was made, although this is just speculation.
We’ll see what Rao’s explanation is if she’s right.

Robot: The human’s big green pet appears to like mimicking others.
I’m thinking that either the robot is interested in Matthew since he was the first person it saw or doesn’t recognise Drabbunnies as they probably weren’t around in Wukrii at the time of it’s creation.
I wouldn’t make a bet on it not having feeling Rao, not with your current track record today.
Maybe Rao should offer drabbunny head pats instead of high-fives.
Rao better hope it doesn’t have nay feelings after frying it’s heads earlier.

Well so far most of the robot’s interactions seem to be with Matt. From the moon light meeting to…this.
Maybe it responds specifically to human interaction meaning no Drabunny or demihuman/beastman. A theory anyway.
Well …. Either he’s not interested in Rao or he sees something in Matthew
It’s probably not confident in his high-five abilities given that it can fit both hands into Rao’s one hand.
Perhaps it just doesn’t like braggarts..

Kind of like a baby chick thinking the first thing it sees is it’s mother when it hatches. Not sure if Mathew is ready to be a father just yet.
