It’s more of a “carrot cake donut” than a “carrot donut” and like Carrot Cake, it contains carrots mixed into the batter. The carrot on the donut is actually just decorative frosting. 🥕
Good thing Mimi’s not much of a carrot cake person or she would be spouting wings and long ears! Glad you’re liking this week’s page Nirozu! Mathew’s more disappointed in the type of donut than Mimi herself! I guess he doesn’t like veggies mixed with dessert.

Mathew’s definitely more of a jelly filled or chocolate donut kind of guy for sure! 🍩

Thanks FantasyApprentice! I love close up shots that manage to make food look good enough to eat. I’m hoping to get better at that aspect, so I’m glad you noticed and liked the detailed donut!

So much carrot cake slander in this, and in the comments… it’s easily a top tier dessert and I’m surprised no one’s thought of turning it into a donut until now!
Seriously! Carrot cakes are severely underrated in the world of sweets!
Carrot cake in doughnut form seems like a no brainier! Wish they were more of a thing I could just buy at a local bakery!
